The 78th annual San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo runs February 11–28, 2027 at Frost Bank Center. Eighteen nights of PRCA rodeo competition followed by a different concert headliner each evening, plus livestock shows and the surrounding fairgrounds. The event regularly draws 1.5 million+ visitors across its full run and is recognized by the PRCA as one of the best large indoor rodeos in the country.

Why San Antonio’s resale market behaves the way it does
San Antonio sits in a similar structural position to HLSR: an 18-night package bundles separate concert markets at one seasonal price, lineup announcements drive per-night pricing, and the highest-leverage seats are weekend nights with marquee Texas country or Tejano/Latin headliners. Two things make San Antonio different from Houston in practice:
The lineup leans heavier on Texas country, Tejano, and Latin. That’s the regional buyer base. The 2026 lineup illustrates the mix: Hank Williams Jr., Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert, Sheryl Crow, Dierks Bentley, Robert Earl Keen, Cody Jinks, Ludacris, Midland, Shenandoah, Shane Smith & The Saints, Ty Myers — country anchors, mainstream country mid-tier, Tejano headliners, with select rock and hip-hop crossover. The buyer pools for each of these acts are different, and reaching the regional Tejano/Latin buyer pool in particular requires distribution beyond consumer marketplaces.
The venue is smaller and the pricing floor is steadier. Frost Bank Center seats 19,000 for events (18,418 for basketball) — significantly smaller than Houston’s Reliant Stadium (formerly NRG) and its 75,000+ HLSR concert configuration. The smaller capacity means premium seating tiers have less absolute supply, which keeps the price floor on weeknights more stable than at the bigger Houston event. Marquee Saturday nights still spike — but the throwaway weeknight cliff is less severe at SA than at HLSR.
San Antonio is also a serious philanthropic operation: the rodeo has committed over $243 million to scholarships, grants, endowments, and youth programs through its history. That’s not relevant to resale pricing directly, but it explains why so much corporate sponsor inventory ends up in circulation — sponsors are buying tables and packages partly as donation, and unused sponsor inventory is a meaningful share of what trades on the secondary market.
San Antonio resale pattern (consistent across recent years)
Marquee Texas country anchors and Tejano/Latin headliners drive the strongest single-night demand. Hank Williams Jr., Miranda Lambert, Robert Earl Keen, Cody Jinks, and Tejano-circuit anchors are the nights that hold value all the way to show day. Saturday and weekend placements amplify this further.
Mainstream country mid-tier — Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Diamond Rio — is the steady middle. Reliable demand, predictable prices.
Rock and pop crossover — Sheryl Crow, Ludacris, occasional rock bookings — pull a different audience and tend to peak earlier in the announcement cycle, softening toward show day.
Opening Friday and closing Saturday carry a meaningful premium over middle weekdays.
Weeknight floor is steadier than at HLSR. A Tuesday night with a moderate Texas country act at Frost Bank Center clears more reliably than the equivalent Tuesday in Houston, because the smaller venue and concentrated regional buyer pool keep the floor up.

When does the 2027 San Antonio Rodeo concert lineup get announced?
The lineup typically rolls out in waves across late-November through January, with most major headliners confirmed by early-to-mid January. Each headliner reveal moves the resale market for that specific night within 48 hours, the same way HLSR announcements work. Listing in advance of the lineup is guessing; the optimal moment is right after each announcement.
How many nights are in a season package?
The full San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo package covers 18 nights of evening rodeo + concert at Frost Bank Center, February 11–28, 2027. You don’t have to sell all 18 — most multi-night holders only attend a fraction and sell the rest.
How much do San Antonio Rodeo tickets clear at on the secondary market?
It depends entirely on the night and the headliner. Marquee Texas country and Tejano weekend nights have historically cleared at meaningful premiums to face value. Mid-tier weeknight country tends to clear close to face. Smaller weeknight acts can clear below face. Snapshot prices for any specific night reflect that day’s market — they’re not promises of what your tickets will receive when they actually sell.

Frost Bank Center seats 19,000 for events and 18,418 for basketball. It’s home to the San Antonio Spurs and serves as the primary indoor arena venue for the city.
Can you handle Tejano/Latin night inventory specifically?
Yes — and this is one of the places where consignment significantly outperforms DIY listing. A meaningful share of the buyer pool for Tejano/Latin nights doesn’t shop on consumer marketplaces. Reaching those buyers requires distribution into the regional broker network, which is built into our standard process.
Should I send my tickets in early?
Ideal: October through December, before the lineup announcement window opens in late November / early January. That positions us to react instantly to each headliner reveal. Submissions throughout the run are still welcome.
Do you work with corporate sponsors?
Yes. Sponsor allotments and team passes are a meaningful share of what trades on the SA secondary market. We handle them as standard inventory; large corporate deals may involve additional documentation we’d discuss directly.
Will I have to sign a separate contract?
For standard inventory, no. The form on /sell is the consignment agreement. By submitting, you agree to our terms.
What about wholesale buyout offers?
You’ll get them. Brokers approach SA season holders every year with flat-number offers. Sometimes they’re fair. Most of the time they’re the floor of what the inventory could bring through full distribution. Tell us if you receive one — if it’s genuinely better than what we expect to clear, we’ll say so. Usually distribution wins.
When do I get paid?
Every Friday. Whatever sold during the previous week settles via PayPal or wire on the next Friday after the sale clears.
