The only domestic treble in MLS history. One unrepeated peak still prices the building.
Toronto FC’s 2017 season — MLS Cup, Supporters’ Shield, and Canadian Championship in one year — is the only domestic treble in league history, and the premium-tier buyer base it built still anchors demand through a long reset. In a 30,000-seat building in Canada’s biggest market, now hosting 2026 World Cup matches, the marquee dates price well above the standings. We price by hand, list across every major marketplace, and pay you Friday. First regular-season sale is commission-free for new season ticket holders.
The TFC ticket market in 2026
Toronto FC demand in 2026 is anchored by a singular legacy and a big building. The 2017 treble — the only one in MLS history — built a premium-tier buyer base that still sets the floor under demand, even through a long on-field reset. On top of that floor sit BMO Field’s 30,000-seat scale (one of the largest soccer-specific venues in MLS), the Canadian Classique against CF Montréal, a Messi visit, and the halo of 2026 World Cup matches in the same stadium in June and July. Pricing each of those to its real driver, rather than the standings, is where season ticket holders capture the upside.
The premium windows we watch for TFC consignors in the 2026 regular season:
The Canadian Classique vs. CF Montréal. The two home meetings with Montréal are the rivalry dates, with national-derby weight; they price 3-4× a baseline midweek.
vs. Inter Miami — Messi at BMO Field. With 30,000 seats and the depth of the Toronto market, a Messi visit is among the largest Miami inventories in MLS; the secondary market is where it gets priced.
Playoff matches. The 2017 legacy and big capacity still price a home playoff date at 3-4× a regular-season Saturday when TFC returns to the bracket.
2026 FIFA World Cup at BMO Field. The World Cup matches in June-July 2026 are separate inventory, but the halo lifts the TFC regular-season dates on either side of them.
Nationally televised weekend windows. The national-window matches carry a 25-40% premium over a comparable midweek date, with Toronto market depth adding to it.
BMO Field’s premium tiers — the Molson Lexus Club, the East Rail Club, and the West Club — sell to Toronto’s deep corporate-entertainment base (banking, legal, consulting, and tech). The Inebriatti and Red Patch Boys supporters’ sections bring the matchday energy, and those seats rarely reach the secondary market. The lower-bowl sidelines and the 2016-expansion upper tiers are where the dates differentiate most.
Inside BMO Field
BMO Field opened in April 2007 on the Exhibition Place grounds along the Lake Ontario waterfront, and a 2016 expansion took it to 30,000 by adding a second upper deck and a south-end canopy. It hosts Toronto FC, the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL, and 2026 World Cup matches — one of the oldest soccer-specific venues still in active MLS use, and one of the largest.
The treble and the base it built
The 2017 MLS Cup, Supporters’ Shield, and Canadian Championship — under Greg Vanney with Jozy Altidore, Sebastian Giovinco, and Victor Vázquez — is the only domestic treble in MLS history. That era’s premium-tier buyer base is exactly what still shapes demand now, a structural floor most rebuilding clubs don’t have.
The supporters and the premium tiers
The Inebriatti and Red Patch Boys at the south end are among the most organized supporters in MLS, and those seats rarely reach resale. The Molson Lexus Club, East Rail Club, and West Club are the corporate-entertainment tiers; the lower-bowl sidelines are mid-tier, and the upper deck is volume.
Getting there on matchday
BMO Field is served by the TTC 509 Harbourfront streetcar and GO Transit (Exhibition station is adjacent), with downtown Toronto about 15 minutes away and Exhibition Place parking at $20-40. Out-of-town buyers come from Hamilton, Kitchener-Waterloo, the Niagara region, and Buffalo.
History that still drives TFC ticket demand
Toronto FC joined MLS in 2007 as the league’s first Canadian team. The first decade was rough, but the 2014-2017 rebuild under Tim Bezbatchenko and Greg Vanney, behind the Altidore-Giovinco-Bradley core, delivered the 2017 treble and a Concacaf Champions League final in 2018. That stretch is the franchise’s defining era and the source of its lasting premium-tier base.
The seasons since have been a reset, including high-profile designated-player arrivals in Lorenzo Insigne and Federico Bernardeschi. John Herdman coached the 2024 season before resigning that November, and Robin Fraser — a TFC assistant during the 2017 treble — returned as head coach for 2025 under a contract through 2027. TFC finished out of the playoffs in 2025 (12th in the East) with a much-improved defense but a thin attack, and the club enters 2026 chasing a playoff return. The treble legacy and the big-market depth are the constants underneath it all, and secondary-market pricing reflects that durability.
Beyond soccer: BMO Field event history
BMO Field hosts the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL, Canada Soccer national-team matches, international friendlies, and select concerts, and the 30,000 capacity keeps it among the more concert-ready MLS venues. The 2026 World Cup further elevates the venue’s profile. The soccer schedule remains the building’s primary driver, tracked date by date.
Why consign your TFC tickets with us
We know which TFC dates move and why. The Canadian Classique or Messi at BMO is not the same listing problem as a Wednesday vs. Charlotte. The Classique, Miami, playoff, and World Cup-adjacent dates are where TFC holders leave the most money on the table.
You don’t manage buyers, transfers, or delivery issues. We handle the full transaction: multi-marketplace listing, delivery, customer support, dispute handling, and replacement tickets if a primary marketplace cancels a transfer the night of the match.
You get paid Friday after the event. One Friday payout for every match from the prior Sunday through Saturday. No marketplace payout delays, no held funds, no surprise chargebacks.
First regular-season sale is commission-free for new season ticket holders. If this is your first match with us and you’re a TFC season ticket holder, we take zero commission on your first regular-season listing. The goal is to show you the difference in net payout — then you decide.

Full-service consignment vs. listing TFC tickets yourself
Selling TFC tickets is a legacy-anchored, big-market pricing problem with a World Cup halo. Here’s an honest comparison:
| List yourself | Consign with us | |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing the legacy base and the rivalry | You discount because the team is resetting | We price the Classique and marquee to true demand |
| Multi-marketplace listing | One at a time, manually | Every major resale marketplace, plus wholesale broker channels and our private buyer list |
| Last-minute transfer issues | You handle buyer calls at kickoff | We handle it, including replacements |
| Payout timing | 7-30 days, varies by marketplace | Friday after the event, PayPal or wire |
| Pricing for the Classique, Messi, and World Cup-adjacent dates | Based on what you see on the marketplace | Based on nearly 20 years of premium-date data |
| Commission | 10-25% marketplace fees (variable by platform and event) | 20% standard (first regular-season sale free for new STHs) |
FAQs about selling TFC tickets
How does my section affect what my Toronto FC tickets sell for?
Four main tiers. The Molson Lexus Club, the East Rail Club, and the West Club are the corporate-entertainment premium. The lower-bowl sidelines are next, the corners and end-line are mid-tier, and the upper deck is volume. The Inebriatti and Red Patch Boys supporters are a separate category. On a Canadian Classique or Messi date, the whole grid lifts.
My Toronto FC match got rescheduled — what happens to my consigned ticket?
Matches occasionally reschedule for weather, Concacaf, the Canadian Championship, or 2026 World Cup venue conflicts. The standard policy is that tickets stay valid for the rescheduled date, and we handle all buyer communication and reissue the transfer. If a match is canceled outright (extremely rare), we refund the buyer and you’re not charged commission on that listing.
Should I wait until closer to match day to list my Toronto FC tickets?
For the Canadian Classique, Inter Miami, and playoff dates, list early — 60-90 days out captures the Ontario and Buffalo travel buyers. For standard weeknights, 10-21 days out is optimal. For World Cup-adjacent dates, 120-plus days. We handle the per-match timing call.
