How SellTicketsFast Works
From “I have tickets I can’t use” to “money in my account” — here’s exactly what happens.
Here’s how it works: you keep ownership of your tickets, we price every game by hand, list them across every major marketplace, and pay you every Friday.
Step 1
Send us your tickets
Tell us what you have — event, date, seats, number of tickets. We’ll come back within one business day — usually a lot sooner — with our estimate of the market and the right pricing strategy. A real person looks at every submission; we don’t just run an algorithm.
Step 2
Transfer the tickets
Submitting the form was the agreement — no separate paperwork. Transfer the tickets to us from your primary marketplace, a major resale marketplace, or primary-marketplace account — digital only, no paper — and we’re off.
Step 3
Active expert management — until they sell
Most tickets sell well before event day — but if yours aren’t moving, our team is on it. We re-price, re-stage, and reach out to you to discuss options. If the market really isn’t cooperating, we’ll work out the right path with you — whether that’s adjusting your floor, returning the tickets so you can use them, or (rarely) a small credit for your trouble. Commission only applies when a ticket actually sells.
Step 4
You get paid every Friday
We run one weekly payout every Friday. You choose PayPal or direct wire when your first sale closes. Your payout = 80% of the actual sale price. That number is all-in — no processing charges, no “account maintenance” nonsense.
A quick note on pricing
Tickets listed in the final week before an event typically sell for 20–30% less than they would have earlier (FinanceBuzz, 2022). Listing early gives you the best shot at the top of the market. The sooner you reach out, the better we can do for you.
Frequently asked questions
How does ticket consignment work from start to finish?
You send us your ticket details through the form, and a real broker replies within one business day — usually a lot sooner — with a market read and a pricing strategy. You transfer the tickets to us digitally, we price every game by hand and manage the listings until they sell, and your payout goes out on our weekly Friday run. From first message to money in your account, our team handles the work.
What does it cost?
Nothing upfront. Our commission is 20% of the actual sale price and only applies when a ticket sells — 15% on major events. If you’re a new season ticket holder, your first regular-season sale is commission-free, so you can see how we work before paying us anything.
When do I get paid?
Every Friday. We run one weekly payout, and you choose PayPal or direct wire when your first sale closes. For major events, the payout goes out the Friday after the event takes place.
Do I keep ownership of my tickets?
Yes. Consignment means the tickets stay yours until the moment they sell. If a game isn’t moving, we work out the next step with you — including returning the tickets so you can use them. You’re never locked in.
