Welcome to SellTicketsFast. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and SellTicketsFast (“STF”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) covering your use of our website at sellticketsfast.com (the “Site”) and the services we provide (the “Services”). Please read them — by using the Site or consigning tickets with us, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site or Services.
By submitting our consignment form, you agree to these Terms — the form is the agreement, and no separate signed contract is required by default. Submitting is not a commitment to sell: nothing is listed until you transfer your tickets, and you can withdraw unsold tickets at any time by telling us — once a sale is made, the sale-related obligations below apply.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date above, and your continued use of the Services means you accept the updated Terms.
1. Who we are
SellTicketsFast is a national, full-service ticket consignment company. We help season ticket holders and event-goers sell the premium tickets they can’t use — across every major resale marketplace, wholesale broker network, and our private buyer channels — and we handle the whole process so you don’t have to. Over the years we’ve sold more than 100,000 tickets across 150+ teams and venues.
We are an independent reseller — we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any team, venue, performer, box office, or primary ticket seller. As a resale service, final sale prices may be above or below the original face value of a ticket.
2. Selling tickets with us (consignment)
When you consign tickets with us, you’re asking us to sell them on your behalf. Here’s how that works and what we each agree to.
Your tickets
When you list tickets with us, you confirm that:
- You own the tickets, or you’re authorized to sell them.
- The tickets are real, valid, and will grant entry to the event.
- You obtained the tickets legitimately — directly from the primary seller, the team, the venue, the promoter, or an authorized season-ticket account — and not by buying them on the resale market to re-consign.
- There’s nothing stopping you from transferring them to us (for example, no restriction from the team, venue, or original seller).
- The information you give us about the tickets — event, date, section, row, seat, and quantity — is accurate.
After you submit our form, please send us your tickets promptly through the official transfer method (team app, venue platform, or other official delivery) so we can get them listed and sold. The sooner we have them, the more time we have to market them and get you the most money possible.
How we list and price
You authorize us to list your tickets across the resale marketplaces, wholesale channels, and private buyer networks we use, and to set and adjust prices based on the live market — performer or matchup, date, demand, and seat location. We price by hand and use decades of experience to get you the best return we can. We may also decline to list, or remove, any tickets we can’t verify or that we believe violate these Terms or a marketplace’s rules.
One place at a time
While your tickets are listed with us, please don’t list or sell the same tickets anywhere else. Double-selling the same seats causes canceled orders, refunds, and penalties that hurt everyone. If your tickets sell elsewhere while they’re with us, let us know immediately so we can pull the listing.
Our commission
We only earn a commission when your tickets actually sell — there’s no upfront cost to list with us. We’ll confirm the commission rate with you before you consign. Standard consignments are 20%; major events (such as the Super Bowl, Final Four, World Series, NBA Finals, Stanley Cup Final, the Masters, College Football Playoff, and the FIFA World Cup) are 15%. Season ticket holders pay no commission on their first regular-season sale. If a ticket doesn’t sell, you keep it and you owe us nothing.
Getting paid
You get paid as your tickets sell — you don’t have to wait until after the event. Each time a sale completes and clears, your payment goes out the following Friday, by PayPal or wire, for the sale amount less our commission. For major one-off events (like a Super Bowl, Final Four, or the World Cup), payment goes out the Friday after the event. We’ll confirm your preferred payment method with you.
Our 100% satisfaction guarantee
We stand behind our service with a 100% satisfaction guarantee: if you’re not satisfied with how we handled your consignment, we’ll waive our commission. This guarantee covers our service and our commission only. It is not a buy-back of your tickets, not a guarantee that any ticket will sell or sell at a particular price, and it does not shift to us the risk that an event is canceled or that the market moves.
If a problem happens: penalties and your responsibility
We stand behind every ticket we sell, which means we count on you to deliver valid tickets on time. When a consigned ticket causes a problem, the resale marketplaces hold us responsible — and they don’t go easy. Depending on the marketplace, a single bad order can cost us a penalty of the full sale price or more (often 100%–200% of the order), plus the cost of buying replacement tickets for the buyer, the loss of the sale payment, and harm to our account standing.
Because those costs come from your tickets, you are responsible for — and agree to reimburse us for — any and all damages, penalties, fines, refunds, replacement-ticket costs, fees, and charges we incur as a result of:
- Invalid tickets — a ticket you consigned is fake, duplicate, already used, transferred to someone else, canceled, revoked, or otherwise fails to grant entry.
- Cancellations on your end — you sell, transfer, gift, or use the same tickets somewhere else after listing them with us, or you back out after a sale has been made.
- Delivery problems — you don’t transfer the tickets to us (or to the buyer, where applicable) correctly or on time, you provide the wrong tickets, or the transfer fails for a reason within your control.
If any of these happen, you agree to reimburse us for the full amount we are charged, including marketplace penalties and the cost of replacement tickets, even if that amount is greater than what your tickets sold for. If you have already been paid for that sale, you agree to return that payment, and we may offset any amount you owe us against other payments due to you. We’ll always tell you exactly what happened and keep it fair — but the responsibility for damages arising from your tickets rests with you.
3. Event cancellations, postponements, and force majeure
Live events sometimes get canceled, rescheduled, relocated, or closed to spectators, and that’s outside anyone’s control.
- The risk of the underlying tickets stays with you. We’re a consignment service — we don’t buy your tickets, and we don’t take on the risk that an event is canceled, postponed, relocated, or restricted.
- If an event is canceled with no replacement date, the sale is handled according to the policy of the marketplace where it sold — which usually means the buyer is refunded. If an event is postponed or rescheduled, tickets generally remain valid for the new date. We’ll work with everyone in good faith to sort out the right outcome under the applicable marketplace’s rules.
- If you were already paid for tickets to an event that is later canceled, postponed, or refunded, you agree to return that payment, as described in Section 2.
- Force majeure. We are not responsible for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control — including epidemics or pandemics; government orders, shutdowns, or restrictions; acts of terrorism, war, or civil unrest; natural disasters; strikes; utility, network, or platform failures; or the cancellation, postponement, or closure of events by any authority. During such an event our obligations are paused for its duration, and any affected sale or payout is handled under this Section and Section 2.
4. Text messages and communications
If you give us your phone number and opt in, you agree we may text you about your consignment and payout status. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. We don’t send promotional spam. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. We may also contact you by email about your tickets and account. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Using our Site
Please use our Site and Services lawfully and honestly. Don’t try to disrupt the Site, scrape or copy it for a competing service, submit false information, or use it to break any law or marketplace rule. The Site’s content — our text, graphics, logos, and design — belongs to SellTicketsFast and is protected by intellectual property laws. You’re welcome to use the Site for its intended purpose, but please don’t copy or reuse our content without permission.
6. Disclaimers
We work hard to provide a great service, but we offer the Site and Services “as is.” We can’t guarantee that any particular ticket will sell, sell at a specific price, or sell by a specific time — the resale market moves on its own. We don’t control the teams, venues, performers, or marketplaces involved in an event, and we’re not responsible for their decisions, cancellations, or rules.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, SellTicketsFast is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. If we are ever found liable for something, our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount of commissions or fees connected to the specific consignment at issue. Nothing in these Terms limits anything that can’t be limited under Texas law.
8. Indemnification
If someone brings a claim against us because of tickets you sold through us, information you gave us, or your breach of these Terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs we incur in dealing with that claim. We’ll keep it fair and keep you informed.
9. Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it. By using the Services, you agree to that policy.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Services will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you and SellTicketsFast agree to that jurisdiction. We’d always rather pick up the phone and work things out first.
