Carolina Hurricanes · Lenovo Center · Raleigh
The best team in the East — and into the Stanley Cup Final. Lenovo Center demand has never been here before.
Carolina finished 2025-26 at 53-22-7, first in the Eastern Conference, then swept Ottawa, swept Philadelphia, and beat Montreal to win the Eastern Conference championship and reach the Stanley Cup Final. Sebastian Aho, Andrei Svechnikov, Frederik Andersen, and Jaccob Slavin lead a Rod Brind’Amour team at the top of the sport. That is a fundamentally different ticket market than the one Hurricanes season ticket holders have priced for — and the demand is live right now. We handle pricing, multi-marketplace listing, delivery, and buyer issues — you get paid Friday. First regular-season sale is commission-free for new season ticket holders.
The Hurricanes ticket market in 2026-27
Lenovo Center demand climbed from the bottom of the NHL in the mid-2010s to the top of the league in 2025-26 — a 53-22-7 regular season, the best record in the Eastern Conference, and a run to the Stanley Cup Final. Lower-bowl pricing on premium opponents, already doubled from rebuild-era comps, now carries a Cup-Final-team premium on top. Southern hockey has a particular demand profile — transplant fans from Northern markets (Toronto, Detroit, Boston, New York) plus a fast-growing native base — and a deep playoff run pulls all of it forward at once. For a consignor, this is the rarest and most valuable kind of market: a franchise at its on-ice peak, where comparable-sales data lags the reality by weeks.
The premium windows we watch for Hurricanes consignors in the 2026-27 regular season:
vs. Rangers — the Metropolitan Division heavyweight. Multiple recent playoff meetings, and MSG fans fly into Raleigh-Durham for weekend games. Lower-bowl pricing runs 40-60% above midweek — and steeper now that Carolina is a Cup Final team.
vs. Panthers — back-to-back Cup champions in 2024 and 2025. In-division meetings between recent Cup winners carry a marquee premium on both sides.
vs. Maple Leafs — the Canadian transplant date. Toronto transplants in the Research Triangle make Leafs games a visitor-heavy, loud crowd.
vs. Capitals — the Metropolitan rival. Washington is a four-hour drive up I-95, and Caps fans travel for weekend games.
Playoff games. Carolina playoff inventory has been among the most in-demand in the league since 2019, and after a 2026 run to the Final it is the hardest ticket on the calendar to acquire — home games sell out within hours of a matchup being set.
Lenovo Center’s Cirroc Premium Club, the lower-bowl sideline 100s, and the corporate suites are the premium tiers. Research Triangle corporate entertainment demand from the tech sector (Red Hat, SAS, Cisco), pharma (Biogen, GSK), and IBM/Lenovo drives premium absorption. Upper 300s are volume inventory.
Inside Lenovo Center
Lenovo Center opened October 29, 1999 as the Raleigh Entertainment & Sports Arena, going through naming-rights changes (RBC Center, PNC Arena, Lenovo Center since 2024). Capacity is 18,680 for hockey. The building sits adjacent to Carter-Finley Stadium (NC State football) off I-440 in west Raleigh, owned by the Centennial Authority.
The Lenovo naming and Tom Dundon-era investment
Tom Dundon purchased the Hurricanes in 2018 and invested in arena operations, the in-game experience (including the viral “Storm Surge” post-win celebrations), and premium amenities. The building is older than newer Southern-market arenas but is well-maintained, and the 2024 Lenovo naming reflects the Research Triangle tech partnership that defines Raleigh’s corporate identity. The post-2018 ownership-era improvements — now paired with a Cup Final team — are a credible differentiator when listing.
The Cirroc Premium Club and the lower bowl
Cirroc Premium Club is the lower-bowl premium with private entry, in-seat service, and a dedicated lounge. Sections 101-106 and 119-124 are the lower-bowl sideline center-ice hardcore-fan tier. Corporate suites ring the 200 level, the RBC Champions Club is the upper-level premium, and the 300s are volume. Carolina’s multi-source buyer base — tech corporate, Northern transplants, native fans — absorbs each tier on a different signal.
Getting there on game day
Lenovo Center sits off I-440 in west Raleigh, adjacent to NC State’s Carter-Finley Stadium, with no direct rail transit. Raleigh-Durham International (RDU) is 15 minutes west via I-40, and on-site and adjacent parking is plentiful at $15-30. RDU is small, direct, and easy — a real advantage for the weekend travel buyers coming from New York, Boston, and Toronto.
History that still drives Hurricanes ticket demand
The Carolina Hurricanes are the modern identity of the Hartford Whalers (1979-1997), relocated to North Carolina in 1997. The franchise won the 2006 Stanley Cup under Peter Laviolette — Eric Staal, Cam Ward, Rod Brind’Amour, and Justin Williams — still its only Cup, after a first Final appearance in 2002 (a loss to Detroit).
The 2010s were difficult — extended playoff misses, the Bill Peters era, ownership instability — until Tom Dundon’s 2018 purchase and Rod Brind’Amour’s hire reset everything. Conference Final runs in 2019 and 2023 rebuilt the fanbase, and 2025-26 took it all the way: 53-22-7 and first in the East, sweeps of Ottawa and Philadelphia, a 4-1 Eastern Conference Final win over Montreal, and a berth in the Stanley Cup Final against Vegas — a series in progress as of this writing. Sebastian Aho, Andrei Svechnikov, Frederik Andersen, and Jaccob Slavin, with Nikolaj Ehlers added to the group, have carried Carolina to the doorstep of a second championship. However the Final finishes, a Cup Final run is the single biggest event in this market’s pricing history.
Beyond hockey: Lenovo Center concert history
Lenovo Center hosts 25-35 concerts a year — Taylor Swift, Elton John, The Eagles, and major country and rock tours have all played here. The Research Triangle location draws concert buyers from Charlotte, Greenville, Virginia Beach, and Myrtle Beach, and pricing benefits from the area’s growing population and the absence of a larger alternative arena between Atlanta and Washington.
Why consign your Hurricanes tickets with us
We know which Hurricanes games move and when. Rangers on a Saturday is not the same listing problem as a Tuesday against San Jose — and with a Cup Final team on the home side, the premium dates carry more upside than they ever have. That’s where pricing discipline returns multiples on what we charge.
You don’t manage buyers, transfers, or delivery issues. We handle the full transaction: multi-marketplace listing, delivery, customer support, dispute handling, and replacement tickets if the primary marketplace cancels a transfer the night of the game. You don’t get a text from a stranger at 6:45 PM on game night.
You get paid Friday after the event. One Friday payout for every game from the prior Sunday through Saturday. No marketplace payout delays, no held funds, no surprise chargebacks.
First regular-season sale is commission-free for new season ticket holders. If this is your first game with us and you’re a Hurricanes season ticket holder, we take zero commission on your first regular-season listing. The goal is to show you the difference in net payout — then you decide.

Full-service consignment vs. listing Hurricanes tickets yourself
Selling Hurricanes tickets at the franchise’s on-ice peak is a different problem than it was even a year ago. Demand has stepped up a full tier, and the holders pricing against last season’s comps are the ones leaving money behind. Here’s an honest comparison:
| List yourself | Consign with us | |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing decisions per home game | ~5-15 adjustments you make | We handle all of it |
| Multi-marketplace listing | One at a time, manually | Every major resale marketplace, plus wholesale broker channels and our private buyer list |
| Last-minute transfer issues | You handle buyer calls at puck drop | We handle it, including replacements |
| Payout timing | 7-30 days, varies by marketplace | Friday after the event, PayPal or wire |
| Pricing for Rangers, Capitals, and playoff dates | Based on what you see on the marketplace | Based on nearly 20 years of premium-date data |
| Commission | 10-25% marketplace fees (variable by platform and event) | 20% standard (first regular-season sale free for new STHs) |

FAQs about selling Hurricanes tickets
How does my section affect what my Hurricanes tickets sell for?
Lenovo Center has five main hockey tiers. Cirroc Premium Club and corporate suites are the top tier, often $300-700 per seat on premium opponents — and higher in a deep-playoff year. Lower Bowl 101-106 and 119-124 (sideline center ice) is the hardcore-fan premium. Lower Bowl ends are mid-premium. The RBC Champions Club is the upper-level premium, and Upper Bowl 300s are volume inventory. Each tier moves on different signals, and the spreads widen when the team is winning.
Carolina’s in the Stanley Cup Final — what does that do to my tickets?
A Cup Final run is the largest demand event a market like this experiences, and it pulls forward demand for next season’s inventory too — renewals, new season-ticket interest, and premium-opponent dates all reprice off a team at the top of the league. The risk for self-sellers is anchoring to last season’s comparable sales and missing the step-change. We price your dates against the current market, where a deep run resets what buyers will pay across the board.
Should I wait until closer to game day to list my Hurricanes tickets?
For Rangers, Capitals, and Panthers dates, list early — 60-90 days out captures travel buyers from the Northeast. For standard weeknight games, 7-14 days out is optimal. Playoff inventory is among the highest-demand in the league and should be listed within 24 hours of a matchup being announced. We handle per-game timing.
