NFR — Las Vegas rodeo consignment · December 3–12, 2026 · 15% premium tier

NFR’s value curve runs back-to-front. Round 10 is the ticket of the year — never sell it inside a flat bundle.

The 2026 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo runs December 3–12, 2026 at the Thomas & Mack Center on the UNLV campus in Las Vegas. Ten consecutive rounds. The top 15 athletes in each of seven PRCA events. World titles and millions in prize money on the line every night.

We list NFR inventory — 10-round packages, individual rounds (especially Round 9 and Round 10), Plaza-level and Gold Buckle floor seats, Mezzanine and Balcony, and corporate / suite inventory — across every channel where NFR buyers actually shop, including the wholesale broker network that books NFR weeks in advance. Our commission on NFR is 15% — the same premium-event tier we apply to Super Bowl, Masters, Final Four, and World Series inventory.

What makes NFR resale different from any other rodeo

NFR is a championship event, not a season package. Three things make it behave unlike HLSR, San Antonio, or Austin.

The value curve runs back-to-front. Round 10 (championship Saturday, December 12 in 2026) is the most valuable single ticket of the entire event. Round 9 (Friday) is second. The first weekend (Round 1, Round 2) is the third tier. The middle weeknights — Round 4 through Round 7 — clear at the lowest prices because demand drops once the world-title math gets serious for the leaders. Holders who bundle all 10 rounds at one flat price misprice four or five of those rounds at a minimum.

The buyer pool is national. NFR is a destination event. A meaningful share of demand is buyers booking flights from Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Wyoming, Arizona, Florida, Montana, and beyond. They make decisions weeks ahead. Distribution into broker channels and private buyer lists matters more for NFR than for any local-market rodeo, because most consumer-facing platforms don’t reach the wholesale buyer network that drives a serious chunk of NFR clearance.

Wholesale buyout offers are aggressive and they’re almost always the floor. If you have all 10 rounds in a section, you’ll get approached. The flat-number offer is fast and easy. The same broker is going to turn around and distribute that inventory at materially higher prices — that’s the whole margin. If you have time, you keep most of it.

Thomas & Mack Center: section economics for NFR

The Thomas & Mack Center seats 19,522 for NFR configuration. The ten rounds are typically all sellouts, putting roughly 195,000 fans through the building over 10 nights — most of whom are repeat-attendee rodeo fans booking annual trips.

MezzanineMid-bowl, balanced sightlinesMid-tier, broadest buyer pool

Plaza and Gold Buckle are where the corporate buyers and serious rodeo fans cluster. Listings in those sections — particularly for Round 9 and Round 10 — are some of the highest-cleared per-seat tickets in any rodeo market in the country. Mezzanine and Balcony are the volume tiers — they move steadily across all 10 rounds with the right pricing approach, but the per-seat upside is materially lower.

The 30x spread: NFR clearing ranges by section and round, drawn to one scale Four horizontal range bars on one dollar scale from zero to three thousand dollars and up. Early-round balcony clears 95 to 200 dollars. Mezzanine 150 to 400. Plaza lower bowl 300 to 1,000 and up. Round 10 Plaza and Gold Buckle floor 1,000 to 3,000 and up per seat. Verdict: same building, same dirt, a 30x spread — flat-package pricing hands the top of this chart to someone else. The pattern holds across years and across sections. Round 9 + Round 10 weekend in Plaza or Gold Buckle is the highest-leverage NFR inventory in any holder’s package by a significant margin. Listing those alongside the early rounds at one flat price is the most common way packages get underpriced.

Frequently asked questions

How much do NFR tickets sell for on the secondary market?

The wide range across recent years: entry-tier balcony for early rounds has cleared in the $95–$200 range; mid-tier mezzanine in the $150–$400 range; Plaza-level lower bowl in the $300–$1,000+ range depending on round; Round 10 Plaza or Gold Buckle floor has cleared $1,000–$3,000+ per seat in recent years. Suites and full-package buyouts run materially higher. Prices move daily — these ranges are directional, not promises.

When should I send my NFR tickets in?

Ideal: September through October, before peak buyer attention shifts toward the December event. That captures the wholesale broker network, which books NFR weeks in advance, plus the destination buyers planning Vegas trips. November works. The week before the event works but loses the highest-paying tier of buyers.

Should I list Round 9 and Round 10 separately from the early rounds?

Yes. This is the single most important pricing decision for any NFR holder. Round 9 and Round 10 carry the highest per-seat resale value of the entire event, and selling them inside a flat 10-round bundle leaves significant money on the table. We list them individually with their own pricing strategy.

What if a wholesale buyer offers me a flat number for the whole package?

Tell us — and tell them you’re getting a second opinion. The math on those offers is almost always that the buyer turns around and distributes the inventory for materially more. If a flat-package buyout is genuinely better than what we expect to clear, we’ll tell you that. Most of the time, distribution wins by a wide margin.

How does the commission work on NFR?

We charge 15% on NFR inventory — the premium one-off tier. So if your tickets clear at $1,000, you net $850. If they clear at $3,000, you net $2,550. We always go for the most money — that’s the whole pitch.

Do you handle suite inventory at NFR?

Yes. NFR suite inventory has its own market dynamics — typically corporate buyers, multi-night packages, hospitality components — and we work it directly. For suite-level deals, we’ll be in touch about additional documentation.

Can I just sell Round 10?

Yes. Single-round NFR sales are common, particularly for Round 10 and Round 9. The buyer pool for those specific rounds is deep and active.

When do I get paid for NFR sales?

Every Friday. Whatever sold during the previous week settles via PayPal or wire on the next Friday after the sale clears.

What if my NFR tickets don’t sell?

Marquee rounds (especially 9 and 10) virtually always clear. Standard mezzanine and balcony almost always clear with the right pricing. The rare unsold ticket reverts to you — we don’t charge anything on inventory that doesn’t sell.

Will I have to sign a separate contract?

Form is the consignment agreement for standard NFR inventory. Submit and you agree to our terms. For suite inventory or larger corporate deals, we’ll discuss additional documentation.
